The V Word, directed by Ronnie James (Hot Imports) and starring Gianna Lynn, Franchezca Valentina, Jenaveve Jolie, Brooke Haven, Aubrey Addams and Lindsay Meadows, was a breath of fresh air as far as I’m concerned.
This film was all girl action and almost entirely sex. It started out with a montage of the scenes done in a typical Hollywood style; the way the first scene started I half expected a porn version of Mimi’s First Time. Each scene started with a short black and white narration giving the broad background of both women and an even shorter bit of dialogue between the women serving as an exposition before the action started. I highly doubt more than ten minutes of the film lacked sex. Those of you used to seeing my reviews are wondering why this was a breath of fresh air to me as its style isn’t my type of porn. The explanation is very simple: this is the first time I’ve seen that it didn’t look like the women were nothing but over-sized sex toys. The action is hot and it’s real. The stars seem like they really want to make each other feel good, not just get paid while screwing a hot chick.
A couple of the premises were very amusing, specifically scenes 2 and 5. In one it’s two girls who rent a hotel room; the hotel supplies the sex toys and is currently doing a survey- if they use all the toys and fill out the survey they won’t have to pay the bill. The fifth scene, two porn stars let out their sexual frustration when the male talent, “stupid boys,” failed to show up for their scenes.
Unfortunately even with how much I did enjoy The V Word I don’t think I’ll sit down and watch it all the way through again. I felt like the scenes where dragging out after the third one. But on their own, they’re hot, which means this would be fantastic as piecemeal, either when you don’t have enough time to watch an entire flick or when you want a little help turning your flavor of the week on. Other than the fact that all of the characters are supposed to be a group of friends, there’s nothing that connects the scenes, which means you don’t have to worry about missing anything if you don’t watch them in order.
